Could wind energy be a viable alternative to replace the up to 18000 barrels of oil burned a day say at the Holyrood Thermal Plant for instance..possibly..if so could that already processed oil be sold to market while we reduce our emissions? If you say average cost of $40.00 a barrel during peak times that is $21 million in fuel a month. How long would it take to recoup that cost of transfer to wind..good question to do a little research on to figure it out..sounds like a challenge.
